Is there any restriction on the number of calls I can make?
No. It only depends on the plan you choose. For example, if you choose the Basic plan, you can make up to 10,000 calls per month. However, if you decide to subscribe to the Pro plan, you can request up to 500,000 requests every month! You read that correctly. It is practically unlimited! Also note that with each API call, you are given a confidence score between 0 and 100. The higher the score, the more accurate your results will be. So if you are using the Basic plan and asking for the logos of big companies like Apple or Tesla Motors, you’ll get results with a high confidence score. But if you’re using the Pro plan and asking for small businesses or startups, your confidence score won’t be as high. Luckily for these smaller companies, their results will still be accurate!
How does this API retrieve brand information? What is its accuracy?
The accuracy of this API depends on the plan that you choose to subscribe to. For example, if you have the Basic plan and ask for images of brands like Tesla Motors or Apple; then the results you get back will be quite accurate because they will provide you with logos and information about them in addition to its location in the image. However, if instead of asking for these major brands, you ask for other smaller ones like AirSplat or BBGrip then your confidence score might not be as high because it’s not as well-known as Apple or Tesla Motors are.
